Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all services booked with Appdesk Home Services Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 202401021563 (1638947-U)) ("Appdesk", "we", "us") through this website, by telephone or by WhatsApp. Placing a booking constitutes acceptance of these terms.

1. Bookings and time slots

Time slots are confirmed by our dispatcher and given as arrival windows, not exact times. We will notify you promptly if traffic or an overrunning prior job affects your window. You may cancel or reschedule at no charge up to two hours before the window begins; later cancellations may incur the call-out fee if a crew is already en route.

2. Quotes and variations

All chargeable work is quoted on site after inspection and starts only with your approval. Quotes are fixed for the described scope. If additional faults are discovered during the work, we pause and present a revised quote; you are free to decline the additional scope without affecting the original agreement. Verbal approvals are confirmed in writing (WhatsApp message) before work continues.

3. Call-out and inspection fees

A call-out fee, stated when you book, covers travel and up to 30 minutes of diagnosis. The fee is waived when you proceed with the quoted repair during the same visit.

4. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work, by cash, DuitNow transfer or supported e-wallets. For project works exceeding one day, a schedule of progress payments will be agreed in writing before commencement. Invoices unpaid after 14 days accrue a late charge of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

5. Warranty

Repairs carry a 90-day workmanship warranty; installations carry a 12-month workmanship warranty, in each case starting from the completion date on your receipt. The warranty covers defects in our workmanship and excludes fair wear and tear, misuse, works modified by others, blockages caused by new foreign objects, and damage from voltage surges or water supply conditions beyond our control. Manufacturer warranties on parts apply separately according to each manufacturer's terms.

6. Access and site conditions

You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area, including arranging condominium work permits and lift access where applicable. If asbestos, structural instability or illegal wiring is discovered, we may suspend work until the hazard is resolved.

7. Liability

We carry public liability insurance of RM2 million. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the affected job, except where the law does not permit such a limit. We are not liable for pre-existing defects we did not work on, or for consequential losses such as loss of income.

8. Complaints and disputes

Raise any concern within 7 days of job completion via [email protected] and we will re-inspect at no charge. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
